Our Food Ethos

Fresh. Natural. Vibrant. Relevant. We think we’ve cracked the formula. Our food proposition differs from client to client, because we understand the importance of creating a bespoke offer that works for your demographic. We champion the use of local producers and suppliers and take a great deal of pride in working with people who share our enthusiasm for delicious food that has been produced in a sustainable and ethical way.

Forget the predictable monochrome blueprint - our chefs are free to write their own menus; our job is simply to ensure they have access to the very best suppliers we can find for them to use. Inspiration is drawn from seasonality, market foraging and trips to European food hubs to engage, ignite and inspire their creative talents.

We source produce that has been grown in natural conditions and work closely with our farmers to understand their businesses and best practice. We prefer fruit and vegetables to be grown in natural sunlight which is far better for the environment, preserving planetary resources. Livestock should be fed on a natural diet without additives or other unnecessary feed. We only source free range eggs and all of our fish is Marine Stewardship Council approved.

Whether we are catering for a school, a workplace restaurant or any other customer base, our approach and standards remain the same – that is to provide freshly prepared, natural food that is delicious, nutritious and relevant to your environment. We will take the same exacting care in preparing a chicken gyros wrap or cottage pie as we will in serving a 5-course fine dine hospitality meal to a city law firm.

We train our chefs in some of the forgotten techniques that can enhance a food offer and make more economical sense. Preserving by way of fermentation or pickling; head to toe butchery; forgotten cuts and cooking with fire to name but a few. Blending traditional techniques with modernity and relevance makes for a more rounded and dynamic offer. Of course, our clients are welcome to join our courses too.
